Gallformers ID Notes

A circular leaf spot projecting slightly above and below the leaf of Quercus alba. A similar gall has been observed on Quercus stellata. Observed in Virginia in May. Easily confused with spring sexgen galls of Callirhytis quercusfutilis.

Similar to a spring gall observed on live oaks.
