Gallformers ID Notes

A deformation of leaves of Rhus copallinum ranging from widening of the midrib, frilling of the lamina around the leaf edge, and abortion of the leaf toward the distal end. Cf Phytoplasma, possibly "Rhus yellows phytoplasma."

A similar symptom has been observed on Rhus typhina.
