Gallformers ID Notes

Fan-shaped pinkish-red galls dotted with black spots. The galls are numerous, and occur on the lower side of the leaf, alongside smaller Blaesodiplosis galls which may or may not be early forms of this gall. Black spots are not observed on all observations of this species, this implies they may occur at later stage of development in the gall. Observed in Massachusetts in July.
