Galls: Elongate, slender, conical projections on both sides of leaf; green, crimson, or green and crimson; distributed along midvein of leaf.

Slender conical projections on both sides of leaf; green, crimson, or green and crimson; diameter 1.0–7.0 mm; occurs along midvein and more convex above than below. Openings thorny and surrounded by slender bracts on both surfaces.
