Gallformers ID Notes

Bluish-green, hairy rosette galls on the petioles and buds of what is likely to be Pycnanthemum virginianum. Galls are composed of overlapping leafy bracts. The tips of the bracts are red. Host is assumed to be Pycnanthemum virginianum based on range.

Observed in Minnesota in October.
