Gallformers ID Notes

Swollen midrib pocket galls deforming most or all of leaves of Rhus aromatica. The galls contained larvae and pupae that appear to be hymenopteran but it isn't clear if these are inquilines or inducers.

Galls observed in New York in June were blackened and dry suggesting they were not fresh, but still contained live larvae and pupae.
