Gallformers ID Notes

A large, abrupt, globose stem swelling on Morella cerifera (wax myrtle), often found at the intersection of several branches. It is covered in stretched and cracked bark.

The gall (not necessarily fresh) has been observed in August in Louisiana, in Georgia in July, and in May in Florida (2).
