Gallformers ID Notes

Round patches of raised or domed bark scattered along the trunk of a hackberry tree. Emergence holes suggest that either the inducing organism (or at least its parasitoids) are insects. Observed in May in Texas, though emergence holes indicate that the active season of the inducer was earlier.
