Gallformers ID Notes

Small tufts of long white hairs scattered in numbers between the veins of Tilia americana, more or less symmetrically on both sides of the leaf. They have been observed in Florida in May and in Ohio in July. Old galls observed in Minnesota in October. The inducer is a midge.
