Gallformers ID Notes

A small, narrow, conical gall extending to the lower side of a leaf vein on Quercus marilandica. The type gall was pubescent to a degree similar to the surrounding leaf. A cross-section revealed thin walls containing a single pupa with no additional cell.

Observed in Texas in April.
